Hello Everyone

I am a fellow TSW warrior from Singapore. I began TSW in 2011, when I was 18. In my first 7 years of TSW, knowledge on TSW was lacking, and I found myself constantly confused, stricken with anxiety and lost as to how to help myself.

In the past 3 years, I have gained a lot more clarity on what TSW is and why it presents itself the way it does. This knowledge has brought me a lot more understanding of my body, and as a result, peace and patience with my healing journey. My wish for writing this website, is to share this knowledge with TSW warriors out there so they may understand their skin better, no longer get confused by the misinformation and heal more gracefully.

I now run Skin Solace Aesthetic Clinic in Hampshire, UK, with fellow TSW warrior Louise King. Our mission is to help sufferers of TSW regain their lives and their freedom again. More information on this can be found in the ‘‘Treatment & Serum’’ tab.

The information in this website is a compilation of the work of doctors who treat TSW, written in a simple, layman way for easy understanding, mainly from Jay, supplemented with knowledge from Dr Rapaport, Dr Sato and Dr Fukaya - they all have similar findings regarding TSA/TSW. These doctors have sacrificed themselves for us and truly care about patients.

Who is Jay?

Jay, who also goes by the name Peerawat Jay, has been treating TSW for 15 years in Thailand and Singapore. From 1995 to 1999, he studied medicine in Mahidol University under 4-year preclinical M.D. program and achieved first-class honors. He was thus awarded the Rockefeller Scholarship. He begun his Ph.D. academic coursework and dissertation between 1999 - 2004 but was unable to complete his dissertation in 2005 due to financial difficulties despite completing all his coursework. He also had to discontinue the clinical course of the program.

In 2004 he begun working in a aesthetic device company that owned a clinic doing laser therapy for aesthetic patients. Very soon, he discovered that some lasers thinned patients’ skin and caused their skin to be red and sensitive. Determined to find a solution to this, he teamed up with his father-in-law Dr. Chanchai Chutsirimongkol M.D. and together they created a machine that could reverse skin thinning and boost the skin’s regeneration rate.

As more patients with thinned skin started coming to him, he realised that some of them had thinned skin from the prolonged usage of topical steroids. The treatment they devised was effective in reversing their condition and his knowledge of Topical Steroid Withdrawal grew from there. More and more patients with increasingly severe conditions approached him for help and he continuously learnt from each case, improving his treatment methods along the way. After more than a decade of treating cases, he has amassed a vast knowledge about TSW.

His passion for treating TSW grew, but due to its controversial nature he kept a low profile. He travelled to Singapore to transfer his knowledge on TSW so that it can be carried on and more people with TSW would benefit.

At the time of writing, he is back in Thailand and is creating a line of products for TSW skin. He is part of the CJay team together with Dr. Chanchai Chutsirimongkol M.D., Dr. Sirayut Benjaoran M.D., Dr Sarintip Tangyoosuk M.D., Dr. Wattanapak Khamphui M.D. and Dr. Achjima Tangkul M.D.

On a personal note, this man was the only person who was able to offer myself and many others going through TSW a solution. He may not have completed his doctorate due to his financial situation back then, but in my eyes and in the eyes of many others who he has healed, he deserves the respect of being called a doctor. In my years of suffering through TSW, he has shown me empathy, compassion, grace and humility and for this reason, he is Dr. Jay in my heart.
